Takopii's Original Sin

In a quest to spread joy throughout the cosmos, a squid-like being called Happian leaves his home planet and lands on Earth. However, things take a turn when he finds himself in danger of being captured by humans. Luckily, he meets a serious little girl named Shizuka Kuze, who takes him in, feeds him, and gives him the name Takopii. Grateful for her kindness, Takopii is determined to make her smile. But making Shizuka happy is no easy feat. She faces bullying at school, has no father around, and her mother is often absent, leaving her feeling quite alone. Despite his innocent nature, Takopii is oblivious to the weight of her struggles. The one bright spot in Shizuka's life is her dog, Chappy, and the bond they share only fuels Takopii's desire to bring joy to her life. As Takopii tries various ways to cheer Shizuka up, his efforts often lead to unexpected results. Nevertheless, he is committed to understanding humans better and using his unique abilities to fulfill his mission of spreading happiness, one smile at a time.
